BIOGRAPHY

Hola! I am Jimmy aka Jim aka Yimi. Born in Lima, Peru my family immigrated to the United States when I was 5 years old in search of that good old American Dream. Through our early struggles to make it in the mean streets of  Brooklyn, NY, I learned the meaning of hard work and dedication. Yea, growing up in the early '90s in downtown Brooklyn, was no cakewalk but we made it. I went on to receive multiple D-I scholarships to play soccer, studied architecture at the University of Michigan, lived abroad in Nice, France, and eventually went on to start my professional career at Fox Sports. Life's been quite a journey so undoubtedly my style is a balance between elegance and bold, homegrown and worldly, street and corporate, but mostly, the product of a lifetime of experiences.

Passionate nyc-based graphic designer with an insatiable appetite for building, creating, rebranding, & refocusing brands. I love creating logos, custom typography, websites, and all things digital-related (though I still love a good editorial piece!). Love to crush deadlines, quick learner, calm and collected under pressure, and highly experienced in print designs.
