YAMAS PISCO

Personal // Branding & Creative Direction & Design // 3 Weeks

BRIEF

As part of our graduation projects, we had to pick a product we wanted to work with. Graduating students chose anything from consumer goods to custom services. Once choosen, we were given random demographics to target our product. For this particular project, "yogis" was my target audience. After some research on “yogis”, I came up with story that tied Pisco (of Peruvian origin) with the origins of Yoga. The story and persona, made my direction clear. Design a label and logo that reflects peace and spirituality, yet maintains traditional Peruvian symbolism and art form.

A Carefully Crafted Logo

One thing, I wanted the logo to represent was balance and precision. People who practice yoga are very familiar with these terms, however it's not something you normally associate with when drinking alcohol. I wanted this brand to feel that connection from the beginning.
